Twitter Block Change — What It Means For Your Account on X
Have you seen the new Twitter block change on your X app? I noticed it this morning when I checked the social news app for my notifications.
A memo appeared stating that “The Twitter block is changing soon on X. It stated that if your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view your posts on X but they not will not be able to engage with your on the network.”
They went on to say “you can have more control to protect your account which is setting your account to private.”
What Will The Updated Twitter Block Mean?
The updated Twitter block on X will mean that people you had blocked in the past now can see what your posts on the X Twitter social network.
However, they will not be able to message you or interact with your account.
There may be a few problems for blocked accounts, for example:
- If someone has a stalker
- School teachers that want to keep their lessons private
- Police officers that may be searching for criminals
- Teenagers content may be seen by child molesters, etc.
- Other little known exceptions
