There are several ways you can filter the content depending on which social media network you are on. From Facebook to X and over on Reddit there are ways to avoid political content on your social media feeds.

It seems no matter where you go online today you can’t totally avoid political messages.

How To Avoid Political Content On X

The easiest way to do this is to make Twitter lists: These lists can be of your friends, co-workers, clients, family or a special group of people in your niche or with your favorite hobby.

Then when you login your X account you can go to the lists easy and stay in that feed. However, if one of these people you put in your list becomes an activist all bets are off.

However, you can mute them on the list or delete them from your list altogether. Problem solved.

On Facebook you may find your family and friends posting memes or other political content on your wall.

How can you eliminate these annoying posts every time you go on to Facebook between now the presidential election?

You can snooze them for 30 days. Another problem simply solved.
