Instagram Hashtags
It was announced recently that Instagram will remove the option to follow hashtags on the platform starting December 13, 2024. This move is to get rid of spammers from the platform.
However, this doesn’t mean the hashtags will be dead on the platform. Many Instagram experts claim you should continue to use them on your posts and reels for higher visibility.
LinkedIn Hashtags
LinkedIn has phased out many hashtags that were once used on the platform. They are no longer allowed in the profile sections of the social media networking platform.
Another huge factor was LinkedIn's removal of the creator mode on its platform, which practically killed off hashtag usage.
Today, being found on LinkedIn is more about how you post, reply, and so forth on the platform.
